your first appointment: collecting data
As a new patient coming to our practice for the first time, you might be surprised by our approach. we will start with a questionnaire that will provide us with some necessary background information that will help us get to know you and to best cater to your individual needs.
Our team will complete a comprehensive clinical examination and a complete suite of clinical records, including a digital photographic survey, digital xrays and CT scans, digital intra-oral scans and face scans.
evaluation
Once we have collated all of the necessary clinical data, dr lazaris will evaluate your records, conduct a personal and detailed consultation with you to discuss your treatment goals and answer any questions that you may have.

So we can create a high fidelity digital avatar of you and of your current dental condition, create an accurate diagnosis, develop a precise and detailed treatment plan and most importantly, to map a path to achieve an ideal treatment outcome for you.

your second appointment: smile design
Perhaps the most important stage of your journey, this is where you get to see an advance preview of dr lazaris’ aesthetic proposal for your smile. A resin replica of his design is created and fitted so that you can visualize a realistic prototype of the aesthetic outcome in real time.
No matter how many before and after photos of past results or other treatment successes are demonstrated, it’s not easily relatable to you and your expectations. It’s only when you see the unique smile design created for you; in real time and in real life, and in a personal context, that you can be confident that you’re in the right hands and the angst of uncertainty is resolved.
You are able to assess and critique the smile makeover prototype in real time so you can get a realistic appraisal of how your smile will appear
Photographic and video presentations of your before and after images are sent for your evaluation and confirmation that your expectations are met… and exceeded.
With the aesthetic outcome clearly defined and approved, the biomechanical parameters are built into the design to ensure functional harmony, and from there, everything falls into place well before active treatment commences. It’s all about design and planning.
what is smile design?
The smile design process is an intricate and detailed procedure that takes into account intimate knowledge of dental and facial anatomy, artistic and technical acuity, and most importantly, the individual needs and desires of our patients.
At next level dentistry, dr lazaris goes to extraordinary lengths, both in the clinic and his design office, to create bespoke smiles with meticulous precision and natural harmony.
Unique amongst his peers, dr lazaris is personally undertakes designing your smile and will not delegate this critical process to a subordinate or laboratory technician.
Just like you, for him, this is personal.
This involves a number of highly detailed processes.

Aesthetic evaluation. Digital photographs and digital intra-oral and face scans are carefully calibrated, assessed and measured to determine ideal proportions, shades and textures
Digital design. Utilising advanced 2D & 3D design software, the selected tooth forms are morphed and blended to harmonize with each patient’s individual characteristics in a facially-driven process.
Aesthetic prototype. A 3D printed model of ideal tooth dimensions and configurations is created as a design study and this is then transferred and fitted to your mouth in the form of a resin aesthetic prototype.
individualized treatment planning
Every patient is different, and a lot of thought goes into developing the ideal treatment plan for you, so don’t expect immediate answers or solutions on your first visit. Part of our unique process involves completing your entire treatment virtually in a detailed digital simulation that guides every step of your treatment journey and gives you the confidence that we will achieve our shared goals.
You will be presented with dr lazaris’s findings and recommendations, outlining the scope of prospective treatments, treatment options and recommendations, including duration and fees involved.

Filled with natural light, city views, and exposed timber ceilings and brick facades, our open-plan practice is equipped with the most advanced equipment and digital infrastructure, and our facility reflects our values: old-school artisan craftsmanship guiding advanced technical procedures, performed with digital precision and efficiency.
